A Labor of Love & Legacy
"I started woodworking as a senior, beginning a new chapter in my life at age 60. My late
husband was a woodworker, and this craft connects me to him. He taught me to use the table saw,
and now, that danger exercises my mental focus like nothing else."
I call my pieces Little NeighborWoods because the different exotic
woods—Zebrawood, Purpleheart, Walnut—play off each other like good neighbors. Each box is a
puzzle, assembled with patience and gratitude.
